Subject description: Want a free page on this website for your Lodge, Just ask it's free
Announcement end: Sat Sep 29, 2012 11:59 pm

I started this website and forum for Lodge Arboreal and the website was then at www.lodgearboreal.com.au but then I thought that we should make the site more generic to the area so I then called the site www.belgravemasoniccentre.com.au and included a page for all the Lodge’s meeting at Belgrave. This has been fine, but the forum on the website is for, and is being used by everyone, including people from overseas. So what to do.
Well this is it.
I have now changed the name of the website to www.freemasonsaustralia.com.au. And the site is available free to all Lodge's that want to have their own page on the site, all they have to do is give me the info and the layout of what they want.
Well how’s that, that will give me a bit of a work load.
Please spread the word and help me make this a better website for Freemasonry.

Regards Doug

Subject description: To the wider circle of Fremasonry and the various Rites and Orders therein.

Congratulations Web Master and Brother Doug,

Great to see the original accorn grow in to a large tree with branches spread all over the globe. That is the way Freemasonry has developed over the many year from the operatives, who building great edifices- travelled with their skills and workmanship to leave lasting marks on the landscape of minds and countryside.

I understand that masonic contact to the forum has come from other hemisphers and from such places as Cuba in recent times. Long may it continue ,and spread information on the seven liberal arts and science as well as friendship, and interest on many a subject in time to come.

I have searched the web and do not find many if any other masonic web site that are willing to cater for all lodges operated by the various Grand Lodges of various States of Australia, and more importantly the other Masonic Orders and Rites that may be a little unknown due to lack of promotion.

It would be good to get links to the various other orders that operate within Australasia for a start, this could then be used as a springboard to the rest of the world for information and knowledge.

So I suppose those that use the forum could start by informing you(and the rest of us) about the various orders that they belong to and a bit of there history. Better to get it from the horses mouth so to speak, than get lost in the fiction of such books that may be best sellers but may lead one off the true track of knowledge.

Members, now's the time to spill the beans on the knowledge that is out there. Do it now- don't wait, make this the paramount site for Freemasons in Australia.(Then the world- from the bottom to the top) .

Well,I notice someone asked what lodges are we in. I am at present Master of Sth.Qld.29 meeting at Beenleigh on 2nd.Monday of month at 7.00pm.I am also in the Beenleigh Royal Arch and the Alpha Conclave. I have just joined the order of Secret Monitor, which is now going to meet at Beenleigh Temple.I do not intend joining anymore at present as being Wor/Master I have a busy year ahead.I am enjoying Freemasonry and have been in it for 46 years, having joined as a Lewis when I was 18.
